Success

Friday afternoon Paul and I shared our college graduation day. Yes, we were able to graduate together. It was so much fun to celebrate such a success with my best friend. Paul's degree is a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Therapy and mine a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science (our own families can't even remember our degrees so that's why I'm writing them).
We had so much fun! We went to 2 ceremonies and got to sit by each other both times. Paul had the opportunity to stand up during one part when all the graduates who were the first to graduate in their family were asked to stand. Out of approximately 500 graduates he along with only about 20 other students stood up. Go Paul!! I am the 5th graduate for my parents.
We had so much support from our families. Thanks everyone! And I have to express our gratitude to our parents. There is no way we could have done this if my parents hadn't been able to care for Caleb during long study hours, night classes, and much needed "breaks". And thanks to Paul's parents for the support, and trips they made frequently to Ogden to visit when we didn't have the time to come visit. Thanks everyone for all the graduation gifts.

Here are a few pictures.

Go us!

As we walked across the stage Paul grabbed me, pulled me in and kissed me! I had to convince him to do so though, but how many times to you get to graduate college with your husband?!

Four generations in my family. Grandma was a trooper for sitting through graduation she hadn't felt good in weeks.

Three generation clarks.

Our little family! Caleb is proud of his parents!

I love that our family is all decked out in purple. They bleed purple.

Happy to be done with school!! WAHOO!

A quick update on Paul's graduate school...STILL waiting!

And this is our graduation gift to ourselves, we'll be here next week. I'm so happy!

We'll be hanging out here...

and maybe doing a little making out here...(lover's beach)

doing a little of this...

or a little of this...

and we will be doing a lot of missing Caleb.

purple

I'm having the hardest time finding a purple Weber State University shirt for Caleb. Lame. I have a picture in my mind of what I want but it's not working out. Why does Caleb need a purple shirt? Because Paul and I are graduating from Weber State in 2 weeks! WAHOO!! It's even more special because we are in the same college and get to graduate at the same time (even sit next to each other). So I wanted Caleb to be wearing the Wildcat purple. So far this is the best I can find (apparently purple is not a great boys color so I have a VERY limited selection).

WHICH ONE??

I don't think I'd have him wear the vest, I don't want it that dressy.

If you have seen or know of any dark purple shirt PLEASE let me know! I'd like it a casual dressy (sweater vest, polo or button up shirt) but really anything will do, even a plain t-shirt and I'll iron on something.

Caleb has a thing for paper, especially newspaper. I don't know what it is, but he constantly wants to eat it. I found a hole right in the middle of our grocery ads the other day and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Paul.
